Happy and motivated gardeners gathered for a delightful road trip and a memorable journey. The first stop was in Portsmouth, NH, for lunch at the Prescott Park, a visit to the Moffatt-Ladd House and Garden and where we saw the 200 year-old tree. On to Portland, Maine for dinner and an early start the next morning to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Before us was a full day of joy, tranquility, wonder and intriguing gardens and surroundings. The next day we boarded the bus for a trip to Bedrock Gardens in Lee, NH. The gardens were lovely with varied botanical specimens and unique sculpture designed for an inspiring landscape journey.
